Immingham. A port with a town stuck on.
A huge port with a small town on the side, getting the lorries and the fumes.
Ming has a port so big the town looks like an afterthought. Oil terminals, refineries and lorries rumbling past the houses all day long. Locals moan about the air, and fair play, it stinks. The money goes through the port and straight back out. Ming gets the fumes.
Buses leave Ming about a third as often as the typical town's, so it's the lorries or nothing. Some homes don't even get the legal minimum broadband, next to a port that ships stuff all over the world. Lloyds has gone. There's still corrugated iron houses from when they built the docks. They were meant to be temporary as well.
