Crap Town of the Year 2026/27

The public vote. It's separate from the Crap Score, which comes from the data. One vote per person, and locals are allowed to vote for their own town. Most do. Voting closes on 31 December 2027, and the winner is announced in January 2028.

One vote per browser

We don't do accounts. When you vote, your browser keeps a cookie with a random number in it, so we know it's you if you change your mind, and you can change it as often as you like until 31 December 2027. That's the only cookie we set. Cloudflare checks you're a person before each vote, which stops the bots, mostly. Clear your cookies or use another device and you could vote again. We can't stop that without asking who you are, and we'd rather not know.
