Yes, we know about the windmill
A working windmill, and the old Waltham station was in New Waltham. That's the news.
Waltham has a windmill that still works, and it never stops going on about it. It's quiet and nobody misbehaves, which is annoying. The worry is that new estates will join it up with the villages next door. The High Street's short of parking and the doctors are full. The old Waltham station was in New Waltham. Nobody knows why.
Even the windmill's ended up on the at-risk register, so all that bragging hasn't kept it in good nick. Crime's well under half the typical town's and the anti-social behaviour barely registers. There's no swimming pool and 3 pubs. Grimsby's down the road, close enough to feel smug about.
