agree it's crap have defended it
Swindon ate it.
Stratton St Margaret calls itself a village. Swindon ate it years ago.
Stratton St Margaret still calls itself the village, but it's been swallowed by Swindon. Legend says the men once armed themselves against a crocodile that turned out to be a scarf. Now the danger's real. Lorries thunder through residential streets, cars speed past the schools and the roads are bad for crashes. Plenty of Greggs.
Fair play, the sewers never spill, the broadband's excellent and there's 1 charity shop. Swindon hasn't ruined everything.
