Pershore. It's all plums.
Pershore has a plum festival and a nice Georgian high street. That's about your lot.
Pershore grows plums, holds a plum festival and makes a drink out of plums called plum jerkum. That's the whole personality. The Georgian high street is lovely, the old bridge still has its Civil War damage, and the station's so far out of town it might as well be in Evesham.
Under the plums it's rougher than it looks. Shoplifting is way above the typical town's, which takes some doing in a town that mostly sells second-hand cardigans: charity shops per head run at 5.2 times the typical town's. The vandals are busy, and the storm overflows send 2.7 times the typical town's spill hours into the Avon. If you're young there's nothing to do and nobody to do it with. Plums, though.
