Vape shop, barber, phone shop.
The department stores have gone. The vandals and fly-tippers haven't.
Mansfield has lost its department stores, its market keeps shrinking and the shops that are left are vape shops, barbers and phone shops, the full set. The Stags still get a crowd at Field Mill. It's the only crowd in town that isn't up to something.
Because the rest is grim. Anti-social behaviour sits at twice the typical town's rate and deliberate fires at 2.8 times. The shoplifters, the dealers and the lads carrying blades all come in well above the typical town too. Chesterfield fans still bring up the strike. Mannies have got bigger things to worry about.
