Cream, not white. Get it right.
Cream phone boxes, chip spice, a big bridge and a lot of fly-tipping.
Hull's got its own cream phone boxes and chip spice, which locals pack when they go on holiday. That's the culture. The rest is roadworks, buses that vanish, fly-tipping, vandals and roads that see a lot of bad crashes. The Humber Bridge is magnificent. Most people see it on the way out.
It's the crappest town in the East Riding by a mile. Bike theft runs at five times the typical town's, burglary at more than twice, and fires get started on purpose at five times. Lloyds has shut 3 branches and NatWest 2. There's 194 pubs, though, and the last bus pulls out at 1.15am, so the Codheads have their priorities sorted.
