The gulls run the place.
Lovely beach, decent harbour, and a gull will take the sandwich out of your hand.
Brid calls itself the lobster capital and it's got sandy beaches, a harbour and arcades. It's also got gulls the size of dogs that'll nick the chips out of your mouth and come back for the fork. Eat indoors, or don't bother.
The Old Town's pretty enough that they filmed Dad's Army there, and the Quay's officially at risk. Barclays, NatWest and TSB have all shut a branch, and 3 swimming pools have gone since 2010, so you swim in the sea or not at all. There's 33 pubs, and public order offences run well over the typical town's, so you can guess how Saturday goes.
