Hagley. Bus? What bus?
A stately home, the Clent Hills, and no way home after teatime.
Hagley's annoyingly decent. Hagley Hall, the Clent Hills, the obelisk on Wychbury Hill and hardly any crime. So we had to look hard. There's always a set of temporary lights somewhere, and the side streets are full of people dodging them.
Then we found the bus. The last one leaves at 6.43pm and nothing runs on a Sunday, so a night out in Stourbridge ends in a taxi or a long walk. Superfast broadband misses 4.7% of premises, more than nine times the typical town's share, which leaves a lot of Hagley buffering. No pool, either. Lovely hills, though. They'll tell you.
