Peterborough's coming for it
A village on the edge of Peterborough, trying to stay one while the new houses go up.
Yaxley is a village on the edge of Peterborough, and it's trying hard to stay one. Great Haddon is going up next door with a load of new homes, and you can't get a doctor's appointment for love nor money. There's a Greggs, which works out at nearly four times the typical town's per head. That's village life. Its main selling point is that it isn't Peterborough, and Peterborough keeps getting closer.
