Old cottages, new traffic.
Timber-framed cottages, its own apple, and every car in the area trying to park at the same shops.
Weaverham has pretty timber-framed cottages, its own variety of apple and almost no crime. Nobody gets robbed, nobody sets fires and the broadband's nearly perfect. Then they built estates for the chemical workers and never sorted the roads, so the school run blocks everything and the shopping parade is rammed with people from other villages nipping in.
The buses stop at 7.24pm on a Wednesday and none runs on a Sunday, so everyone drives to the parade. There's a bookies for the stress.
