Big needle. Bigger queue.
A big needle on a roundabout, traffic all day, no trains, and sewage in the Arrow.
Studley used to make needles and stuck a giant one on a roundabout to prove it. The main road runs straight through the middle, the bypass has been promised for longer than most of the village has been alive, and there's no train, so everyone just sits in it.
What Studley does have is 13 hairdressers and 9 pubs, which tells you how it spends a Saturday. The Arrow gets sewage spills at nearly four times the typical town's rate, so nobody's going for a paddle after.
