Warwick. The castle's nice.
Huge castle, old bridge, and the university with its name is actually in Coventry.
Warwick has a castle the size of a small town, an old bridge over the Avon and enough wonky timber-framed buildings to keep the coach parties happy till teatime. The University of Warwick is in Coventry. Even it didn't want to live here.
Behind the postcards, anti-social behaviour sits at 1.6 times the typical town's, and the council's patch gets fly-tipped at 1.7 times the typical council's rate. Bike theft's well over the odds too. On the Crap Score only Bedworth is crapper in Warwickshire, which is a sentence nobody in Warwick ever expected to read. Leamington is loving it.
