Stratford. Tourists. Everywhere.
Shakespeare's town. Full of tourists, swans and coach parties.
Stratford is very pretty and absolutely rammed with tourists. The locals can't get to the shops for coach parties, the swans get more right of way than the residents, and some visitors reckon they've come to the one in London. Stratfordians gave up explaining years ago.
For somewhere this pleased with itself, it's a rowdy little place. Anti-social behaviour runs at nearly twice the typical town's rate, and the shoplifters manage 16.0 crimes per 1,000 people a year, which is a lot of nicked fridge magnets. The banks have been shutting at three times the typical town's rate. The charity shops have noticed the gaps.
