Shut the windows. Shut them.
An old pit village split by a railway, with a smell nobody can explain and flies in the kitchen.
Rossington is an old pit village split by the railway, Old Village on this side and New Village on that. Both get the same horrible smell and flies through the windows. Quad bikes tear about and West End Lane is a rat run. The Romans had a fort here. They took one sniff and left.
The flies are official. They're in the serious pollution record twice. 11.8% of the food places score 0 to 2, nearly five times the typical town's share, and the grass and woods go up in flames at nearly ten times the typical rate. There's 1 pub. You'd want to drink somewhere the flies can't get in.
