Maltby. Somebody's lit another bin.
Old pit town that plays ball in a stream. Elsewhere, the bins are on fire.
Maltby is an old pit town that plays a game called beck ball in the stream, which tells you about the entertainment. The pit's shut, the High Street shops are shutting, and Queen's Corner has potholes that come back as soon as they're patched.
Fires get started on purpose at nearly nine times the typical town's rate, and the grass and woods go up at over fifteen times. Half the town's over 400 metres from a park or a swing, so the kids make do with the beck. 3 swimming pools have closed since 2010, which is another reason to play in the stream.
