Cusworth Hall's doing all the work.
A lovely hall and grounds. Beyond that, the kitchens are grim and the pool's shut.
Cusworth Hall and its park are a nice afternoon out. The rest is Barnsley Road, with lorries rumbling through and shaking the houses. Scawthorpe floods when it rains, there's nothing for young people to do, and serious crashes run well over the typical town's rate.
Check the hygiene stickers before you eat out. 12% of the food places score 0 to 2, five times the typical town's share. There's 1 pub and the swimming pool's shut. The local yobs are setting fire to things at four times the typical town's rate. Back to the hall, then.
