Lorry, lorry, smashed shelter, lorry.

Not the Hatfield with the stately home. The Hatfield with the lorries and smashed bus shelters.

Hatfield Chase used to be a royal hunting forest. Now it's a High Street with lorries thundering through and cars going far too fast. Dunscroft was built for the Hatfield Main miners and the pit's long gone. The Crescent has its own anti-social problem.

What's left of the forest keeps getting set on fire. Fires get started on purpose at nearly eight times the typical town's rate, and the grass and woods go up at over fourteen times. Burglary's twice the typical town's. There's 3 pubs and no swimming pool. The kings got out while they could.
