Armthorpe. Round and round.
Pit's shut, the houses are in rings and the bins are on fire. That's Armo.
Armo's old pit houses are laid out in rings and crescents, so you go round in circles even when you know where you're going. Now they've put houses on the pit itself as well. More bloody houses. The Christmas lights are decent, to be fair. Locals put a proper shift in.
Less welcome is whoever keeps setting fire to things. Deliberate fires run at four times the typical town's rate, mostly the grass. Halifax is shutting the branch, and the banking hub they've recommended instead hasn't opened.
The buses are something else. They leave Armo over four times as often as the typical town's, evenings and Sundays included. There's 2 pubs. Work it out.
