Measham. Famous teapots, made elsewhere.

Measham ware is famous. Most of it was made up the road.

Measham is famous for Measham ware, big brown teapots that were mostly made round Church Gresley. The museum is in the old railway station, which has no trains. The canal restoration got stuck when HS2 got scrapped. Warehouses are eating the farmland.

It's quiet and safe, and nobody crashes. The sewers are another matter. The overflows run for nearly 22 times as long as the typical town's. That's not a typo. Of its food businesses, 14.3% score 0 to 2 on hygiene, and on a Sunday 5 buses leave all day. Lovely teapots, mind.
