Half a castle and a motorway services.
Kirby Muxloe has a castle they never finished. LFE has a motorway services. That's the sights.
Leicester Forest East is a motorway services with some houses round it, and the restaurant over the carriageways gets more visitors than the village. Kirby Muxloe has a brick castle they never got round to finishing, and locals call it Kirby Muckhole. The pubs are thin on the ground in both.
It's quiet. Nobody misbehaves much, so the moans are the morning queue on Hinckley Road and the lads on motorbikes. The muck is real enough, mind. Sewage spills run at 3.1 times the typical town's, and with the motorway next door the air is over the World Health Organization's guidelines on both counts. No pool. No trains.
