Sat at the crossing. Still sat.
Next's head office is in Enderby. Narborough has a level crossing and a queue.
Enderby has the head office of Next, and Narborough made the stone for the MI6 building, so the place reckons it's a cut above. Then the barrier comes down at Narborough and you sit there for ages like everyone else. Lorries use the villages as a shortcut, and more houses keep going up with nothing to go with them.
The storm overflows spill at 4.5 times the typical town's rate. There's 1 public park between the two villages and 4 public swimming pools, with 2 more shut for now, so you can always go for a swim, just not a walk. The anti-social lot have got busier lately, and the air's over the health guidelines on both counts.
