Rev, rev, rev. All night.
Old boot and shoe town. Now the main noise is boy racers on Clickers Way.
Earl Shilton made boots, shoes and stockings, and then stopped. These days the loudest thing about it is the car meets on Clickers Way, with lads revving engines and racing up and down all night. A meteorite landed here once, on Christmas Eve. That's the most exciting thing ever to arrive.
It's quiet otherwise, annoyingly. Clean kitchens, not much crime, 3 pubs and 1 hairdresser for the whole town. No pool, and gigabit broadband misses 17.5% of premises. Ask a Shiltonian what else there is and you'll get the meteorite again.
