No stars. Barely a pub.

It's called Hollywood. It's on the edge of Birmingham. Manage your expectations.

Hollywood is on the edge of Birmingham, and that's as glamorous as it gets. No stars, no red carpet and barely a pub, though there are plenty of hairdressers for anyone getting ready for the premiere. Hollywood Brook floods, you can't get a GP appointment and they keep wanting more houses.

Getting home from the big night out is the real drama. Midweek there's no bus after 7.24pm, and on a Sunday there are 24 departures all day. Not much park, no pool. Annoyingly decent otherwise. About as Hollywood as a bus shelter.
