A bus, now and then

A tidy village with a green and a long argument about anyone building near it.

Culcheth's nice and it knows it. Village green, the old railway turned into a Linear Park, hardly any crime and nobody crashing. Suggest a single house on the green belt and the whole village turns up to the meeting.

It's also got a bookie's and a river full of shit. The storm overflows round Culcheth spill for nine and a half times as long as the typical town's. Warrington Road's a car park at rush hour, and if you park on Lodge Drive you'll get a ticket.
