agree it's crap have defended it
Village. Very bloody important.
Cricket on the green and a canal lock. It's a village, however big it gets.
Wombourne is a village. It's the size of a town, but it's a village, and they'll put you right if you get it wrong. There's cricket on the green, the Bratch Locks, a walk along the old railway line and hardly anybody misbehaving. Barclays packed up and left, and the village took it on the chin.
The real fight is the Green Belt. Every housing plan gets fought field by field, because enough new houses and somebody might start calling it a town.
