Locals call it Shitnash.
Thatched cottages, a nice brook and a summer full of flies.
Whitnash is a town, it'll have you know, even though Leamington and Warwick have grown into it from both sides and you can't see the join. Thatched cottages in the old village, a brook, and next to no crime. Not one storm overflow nearby spilled from 2023 to 2025. Warwick and Leamington both score far crapper, and Whitnash will mention it.
So where does Shitnash come from? Every summer the flies turn up in clouds and the recycling area stinks the place out. Warwick council's patch gets fly-tipped more than most, so the flies never go hungry.
