Still at the bus stop.
Stocky made steel and umbrella frames. Now it makes people wait for buses.
Stocksbridge sits at the bottom of a steep valley and made steel and umbrella frames. Now it's vape shops and Greggs, and a bus into Sheffield that might turn up. Some idiot keeps smashing things, somebody else keeps dumping rubbish up the lanes, and the sewage goes in the Little Don. For a small town, it's very good at being crap.
There's 2 vape shops, which per head is over nine times the typical town's, and no public park on the map. The rain turns up on 145 days a year. There's 2 swimming pools, mind, which is as well, because nobody's going in the Little Don. The bypass is meant to be haunted by ghost children. Probably waiting for the Sheffield bus.
