Speak up, there's a Chinook
A pretty High Street and a lot of big helicopters going over it.
Odiham is a pretty market town with a castle ruin, a canal and a few good pubs. It's annoyingly decent. The only thing breaking the peace is the Chinooks from the RAF base thundering over the High Street. The library sells itself on peace and quiet. Then a Chinook goes over.
And the house prices. Christ, the house prices. For all that money, gigabit broadband reaches 42.7% of premises and there's no bus after 8.19pm. Nobody's going anywhere and nobody's downloading anything. The helicopters are quick, mind.
