Stuck at Tiger Junction.
They built the country's trucks and buses. Now they sit in them at Tiger Junction.
Leyland built the country's trucks and buses and has a museum full of them. Now the whole town sits in traffic, mostly at Tiger Junction, and people get killed or badly hurt on the roads at nearly twice the typical town's rate. Anti-social behaviour's double the typical town's too.
The pollution record shows 24 serious incidents in and round Leyland since 2016, 4 of them major, with crude sewage and landfill stink among them. The banks have announced four branch closures since 2022. There are 38 hairdressers and 2 public toilets. Worden Park's nice.
