Kiveton Park. Where even is it?
Rotherham does the council tax, Sheffield has the postcode and nobody wants the fly-tipping.
Kiveton Park has a Rotherham council, a Sheffield postcode and a Worksop phone code, so nobody's quite sure whose it is. The pit's gone and the land's been tidied up, which the fly-tippers took as an invite. Then the waste site caught fire and the whole place smelt of smoke for weeks. It has more stations than it needs, mind.
Things go up in flames at four times the typical town's rate, and the waste site fire made the serious pollution record in 2022. The conservation area at Wales next door has made the Heritage at Risk register, which is a sentence you don't read every day. Nobody smashes anything up, to be fair. They can't work out which council to annoy.
