Park on the cobbles. We dare you.
A nice little market town that will fight you to the death over its cobbles.
Easingwold's got a cobbled Market Place, a weekly market and next to no crime, so the locals have to fall out over something, and they've picked the cobbles. Mention the parking rules and you'll get letters. The new estates keep coming and the roads were built for a horse. Nice. Dull as ditchwater.
For all the fuss about the paving, nobody's looked in the kitchens. 11.1% of the food places score 0 to 2, over four times the typical town's share. Barclays has gone, and the buses stop at 9.14pm on a Wednesday, so the villages are on their own after that.
