Big night out? Get a lift.
Nice commuter town. If you want a night out, you're getting a lift to Farnborough.
Fleet is a tidy commuter town with a nice pond and a canal, and not much else. The town centre gridlocks at school time. Want the cinema or bowling? Go somewhere else. Nobody's smashing anything up, annoyingly. Too knackered from the commute.
Getting somewhere else is the problem. The last bus is at 7.42pm and the Sunday service is a fraction of the typical town's, so everyone's cadging lifts. Barclays, Lloyds, NatWest and Santander have all shut a branch, which leaves 1 bank and 26 hairdressers. Fleet looks immaculate and can't pay anything in.
