agree it's crap have defended it
Caerleon. It's basically Newport.
The Romans built an amphitheatre here. Then somebody built Newport next door.
Caerleon has a Roman amphitheatre, Roman baths and a lot of opinions about not being part of Newport. Fair enough, but the council's Newport, and Newport's fly-tipping runs at over four times the typical Welsh council's. That's pure Newport.
Sewage goes in the water for over ten times the typical town's hours. The one-way loop is jammed most of the day. The Romans had better drains.
