Queue for the drive-through
A village swallowed by Dover, with a roundabout that's always jammed.
Whitfield used to be a village with a windmill and a bakery underneath it. Now it's joined on to Dover and getting bigger every year. Whitfield roundabout is always backed up, the drive-through queue spills on to the road, motorbikes tear about and the new estates bring more cars. The bad crashes happen at 1.8 times the typical town's rate. Mind the roundabout.
There are 2 pubs for all those new houses, and superfast doesn't reach 2.8% of premises, over five times the typical town's share. The sun's out for 1,864 hours a year, which you can enjoy from the roundabout.
