Lorries using it as a shortcut
Ponds, the South Downs and a lorry coming down the High Street.
Storrington is bang in the middle, not good or bad at anything. It's got ponds, the River Stor and the South Downs behind it. It also has every lorry heading for the coast taking a shortcut down its High Street. They're building more houses. It's fine. It's just loud.
Crime's about half the typical town's. Nobody's got the energy, what with the lorries. Over a quarter of premises can't get gigabit broadband, so working from home means working to the sound of a lorry on a dodgy connection. The last bus pulls out at 8.35pm.
