Deadhill, after dark.
Reigate gets the nice bits. Redhill gets the railway junction, the traffic and the takeaways.
Redhill exists because of a railway junction, and it looks like it. The town centre is ugly, it's dead at night apart from the bother, and Reigate looks down its nose at it from up the road while nipping over for the useful shops. Locals call it Deadhill. Somebody once tried Rougemont. Nobody bought it.
The kitchens are the real horror. Nearly 18% of its rated takeaways come in at 0 to 2 for hygiene, over four times the typical town, so the kebab after the last train is a gamble. The fly-tippers love it too, at nearly three times the typical council's rate across Reigate and Banstead. Reigate's in that council as well, so it can stop sniffing.
