agree it's crap have defended it
Maghull. Is it Liverpool? Who cares.
Locals have argued for years about whether Maghull is Liverpool. The traffic's had time.
Maghull has a canal, a nice walk along the old railway and an argument that never ends about whether it's part of Liverpool. Crime's low, nobody nicks bikes and the sewage figures are about as clean as they come. So the big moan is the new estates going up with no roads to match.
The spine road might get finished some day. Until then, Northway shuts and everyone's stuck. A police drama was filmed here, which is the most excitement Maghull's had in years.
