agree it's crap have defended it
Fleetwood. It stinks. Literally.
The trawlers have gone. The stink from the tip hasn't.
Fleetwood was a proper fishing port. The trawlers have gone, a library's shut and the stink from the Jameson Road tip hangs over the place when the wind's wrong. There have been 14 serious pollution incidents round Fleetwood since 2016, and the landfill smell is behind most of them, so the Codheads weren't imagining it.
Round the clock tower it's drinking and kicking off at all hours. Anti-social behaviour comes in at 2.7 times the typical town's rate, serious crashes at twice, and food businesses are more than four times as likely to be rated 0 to 2 for hygiene. Nice lighthouses. Whoopee.
