Rugby, then nowt.
Proper rugby town. The shops have gone and the vandals haven't.
Featherstone lives for the Rovers and hates Castleford, and that's about the size of it. Station Lane has lost its old shops to vape shops, the new estates have jammed the roads and the vandalism and crashes are worse than most. The old village is called Top o' t' Knob. We're not touching that.
For a town that lives for what happens on a field, it hasn't got many. Nearly half of Fev lives over 400 metres from a park or a swing. Somebody keeps setting fire to things at two and a half times the typical town's rate, and it isn't the Cas fans, much as Fev would like it to be.
