Nothing open after tea.
Nice stone village with trains to Leeds. You'll need them.
Menston is a nice stone village on the edge of the moor, and it'll tell you it's still a village however many houses they add. There are barely any shops and nothing to do in the evening, so you get the train to Leeds. Cars rammed down Cleasby Road make the buses go round, and the fly-tipping is worse than you'd think. Lovely moor.
Crime's about half the typical town's and nobody kicks off, so the Menstonians have to fall out over the parking. The rain turns up on 144 days a year and the sun's out for 1,342 hours. 15.8% of homes can't get gigabit broadband, so even working from home means a trip to Leeds. The grounds of the old High Royds Hospital are on the Heritage at Risk register.
