Garforth's still sore.
Old pit village with a swimming pool Garforth reckons they paid for.
Kippax is an old pit village with a hill fort, a skatepark and a swimming pool that Garforth reckons it raised the money for. The buses are poor, the streets are narrow and there's not much to do or buy. Kippax isn't fussed. It's got the pool.
Over half the village lives further than 400 metres from a park or play area, so the pool's doing a lot of work. The overflows nearby run for nearly four times as long as the typical town's, and somebody keeps setting the grass alight. There's 2 bookies and 1 hairdresser. Garforth can keep its money.
