Welcome to Frodvegas.
Locals call it Frodvegas. It's got a hill, a Thursday market and a lot of lorries.
Frodsham gets called Frodvegas and Costa del Frod. It's got a Thursday market, a sandstone hill and four times the typical town's hairdressers per head. Vegas, mate. When the motorway shuts the traffic gets dumped here and the whole town stops dead, and the rest of the time the lorries tear down Howey Lane.
The kitchens are worse. The hygiene inspectors hand out 0 to 2 four times as often as in the typical town, so check the sticker on the door first. Some knobhead sets a fire, usually a bin, more than three times as often as in the typical town. The evening buses run at about a sixth of the typical town's, so once you're in Frodvegas, you're staying.
