Burnt-out High Street, plan on hold
The pit shut, the High Street burnt, and the regeneration never showed up.
Dinnington had a pit. Now there's a High Street with burnt-out buildings and a regeneration plan that keeps getting put back. The market traders get shunted about and the bus station is where the trouble hangs out.
Bins get set alight at about twelve times the typical town's rate, car crime's more than twice the typical town's, and serious crashes run at about twice. Burning something down round here is easy. Getting anything built takes years. The kitchens are fine, mind. Eat, then leave.
