Steep, cobbled and full of coaches.
Wuthering Heights country, with tourists blocking the doors and drunks in costume.
Haworth is where Wuthering Heights was written, and it has been cashing in ever since. Main Street is steep, cobbled and rammed with people stopping dead for photos. You can't park, the stalls block people's front doors, and the wartime weekends end with drunks in costume.
The sewers nearby overflow for over thirteen times as long as the typical town's. It pisses down on 158 days a year and the sun puts in 1,323 hours, so the moors look exactly as miserable as the book said. There's 10 pubs and 4 public toilets, which tells you how the day trippers spend the afternoon. Very romantic.
