It's in the name, love
A nice village that makes plasterboard and has a sewage problem. Called Leake. You couldn't make it up.
East Leake is a nice village. Quiet, safe, no trouble. It digs the gypsum for the country's plasterboard and somehow has 2 public swimming pools. But it's called East Leake, and its the sewers overflow for nearly 11 times as long as the typical town's. Nobody planned that.
On top of that, the planes come over from East Midlands Airport, and new-build owners pay a fee to get the grass cut on top of Rushcliffe's council tax, which is well over England's average already. And the post says Loughborough. It's in Nottinghamshire. Try telling the postman.
