Breathe in, here comes a tanker

A long High Street, every lorry in Devon and some very dodgy kitchens.

Crediton, Kirton to the locals, has a long High Street and every milk tanker in Devon squeezes down it. Noise, crossings you take your life in your hands on, and they've wanted a bypass forever. Funnily enough the air's cleaner than the typical town's, which rather spoils the bypass campaign.

The rest is charity shops, pubs and takeaways with some of the dodgiest kitchens about. There are over six times the typical town's public bogs per head, which after a Kirton takeaway you might need. Eat in Exeter.
