How many fires get started on purpose in Saltcoats?
There were 22.5 deliberate fires per 10,000 people a year in Saltcoats from April 2023 to March 2026, about the same as the typical Scottish town's 22.3. The most common were bins and rubbish set on fire, at 12.1. In 2025/26 it was 18.9, down from 24.7 in 2023/24.
