Every other door's a chippy.
Anglesey's county town. Takeaways, bookies, and the vandals are in the woods.
Llangefni is Anglesey's county town, home of the council and an awful lot of takeaways. The streets smell of chip fat, the shops are bookies and charity shops, and the Dingle, the nice woods by the river, keeps getting smashed up.
Barclays, Lloyds and NatWest have all shut, over 16 times the typical town's rate of closures. There are five and a half times the typical town's hairdressers per head, so you'll look sharp in the chippy queue. Gigabit gets to 41.7% of premises, and the council that runs the island from here has fly-tipping at five times the typical Welsh council's rate. Nice market, mind.
