Llandod. The spa's seen better days.
Victorian spa town with a dragon in the lake. The Victorians have gone and the vandals moved in.
Llandrindod Wells was where the Victorians came to take the waters. You wouldn't take these ones: the sewers overflow for nearly 21 times as long as the typical town's. There's a lake with a dragon sculpture in it, and that's the postcard.
The sun's out for 1,303 hours a year, so the dragon's mostly in the gloom. Crime comes in at nearly twice the typical town's rate, which is a lot of bother for a quiet town in the middle of Wales. They took the parking from round the lake and there's no laundrette. There's a Greggs, at six times the typical town's per head. Priorities.
